During the initial consultation, the doctor will review your symptoms, medical history and blood test results. This allows the doctor to determine whether TRT is appropriate and safe for you. If treatment is recommended, the doctor will explain the options, expected benefits, potential risks and the monitoring that will be required.

TRT requires ongoing medical supervision. Patients may need repeat blood tests to monitor hormone levels, treatment response and overall health. Treatment can then be reviewed and adjusted where clinically necessary.
