What this category is
Over time, dead skin cells can clog the skin, leaving it looking dull, tired and grey. Facials at E&S Aesthetics are used to revive the complexion based on your skin concerns and the social downtime you can allow.
That includes chemical peels, microneedling and Diamond Glow. A thorough consultation is needed to determine what is best for you.
What to expect
Before a peel, the face is cleansed and a chemical solution or mask is applied to remove the top layers. Mild stinging may be experienced. Skin may be red, tight, irritated or swollen afterwards. Instructions will be given for sun protection, cleansing and moisturising. Avoid picking, rubbing or scratching the skin.
Microneedling uses a medical-grade device to create tiny, controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen and elastin. Numbing cream is applied beforehand. Extra treatment areas and an exosome upgrade can be added if suitable.

A chemical peel used to exfoliate dull surface skin and target concerns such as texture and pigmentation. Downtime depends on the peel chosen.

Frequently asked questions
What is the scale of pain?
A superficial peel may tingle; that usually settles once the solution is neutralised. Deeper peels can feel more active and may need numbing cream. Microneedling is usually comfortable after numbing cream, though sensitivity varies.
Will I need to allow for social downtime?
It depends on the treatment. We will consider your diary when choosing a peel. Superficial peels can leave redness for 3 to 5 days. Stronger peels can mean redness, tightness and peeling for 7 to 14 days. Daily sunscreen is essential afterwards, and sun exposure should be kept to a minimum.
When will I see results?
Peel results are usually seen in 1 to 2 weeks. Repeated treatments continue to improve the skin. Microneedling is often planned as a course for best results.

How much does treatment cost?

Skin consultation is €80 and includes skin analysis. OBSERV 520x analysis with a treatment is complimentary. Glass Skin Facial is priced at consultation.
