How is this different from dermal fillers?
Fillers restore volume and reshape contours. Skin boosters and regenerative treatments are aimed at hydration, collagen support and overall skin quality. Your doctor may recommend both.
What is the scale of pain?
Usually mild to moderate. Topical numbing cream can be used before treatment.
Will I need to allow for social downtime?
There is potential for bruising or small bumps. Most people return to everyday activities immediately. Makeup can usually be applied once you leave the treatment room.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the treatment. Profhilo is usually a course of 2 to 3 sessions, about a month apart. Polynucleotides are often a series of sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Your doctor will set the plan at consultation.
How much does treatment cost?
From €225 for Restylane Skin Boosters. Polynucleotides and PRP are €250. Profhilo is €300. Sculptra is €500. Mesotherapy is priced at consultation.
